Here’s what happened on Thursday Nov 23 (today, as I type this).

This article gets me caught up with current events around here.

It’s Thanksgiving day. It’s mid-afternoon. I have not eaten lunch. I am not the slightest bit hungry, a likely side effect of something-or-other that I usually remember to take with or without food. Kim is in the basement, crafting. Kyle and Sami are at their house as Sam’s parents are in town for a few days.

Today I woke, fed dogs, tidied up, then drove across a choppy Mississippi to meet a coffee regular for breakfast at a diner not far from his apartment. He has nobody. We spent a few hours there. Then we walked a few blocks in a bracing breeze (me with no jacket or hat) to his place on the second floor where I met Buddy, his cute and very well-behaved Chihuahua. Then I drove back home for a snooze which I woke up from not too long ago. I reviewed my week and then posted several overdue articles so I could keep y’all in the loop.

That is all, except to say that I hope everyone that reads this (and those that don’t) can find something to be thankful for. Dinner tonight will be home made chicken soup up at Ellen’s.

I’m going to put this machine to sleep, take mid-day meds, then tippie-toe downstairs and see what’s what. Cheers.
