It’s Getting Colder By The Minute
And wringing the moisture out of the air as it happens.
Today is for sure an inside day.The two terriers are under blankets on couches or padded chairs, Willow follows me from room to room and settles down if I do.

I had to zip to the pharmacy this morning to pick up a prescription and it was colder outside than it was when I went inside. And it was drizzling.

I’ve been working on something that has taken me far to long to get straightened out. It’s computer related. It’s a small project that’s progressed to the point where I can stop planning and get to work on it. Finally.

I hope to have a good chunk of it done today, hopefully wrap it up tomorrow. Or sometime next week.

Other things are fine given the circumstances.

Kim and Kyle have started working on a project together. They’re making small wooden boxes that are just large enough to fit two or three decks of playing cards. The cards are used by gamers, the boxes will be laser etched with designs and symbols like dragons and swords and wolves and elves and stuff. They’ll be large enough so the cards will fit inside even if they’re in individual plastic sleeves.

A local mom and pop gaming shop has asked them for a dozen boxes. I’d post a picture of the prototype but Kyle took it home yesterday evening. He plans on stopping by so they can continue working on the things, I’ll post a picture of the box if he brings it with.
